Workspace Admin
The admin initiates and oversees explorations. Anyone who creates an exploration automatically becomes its admin and can add others to this role.
Key responsibilities:

- Invite team members and assign roles
- Organize questions and matters
- Move explorations through different states
- Designate assignees and reviewers
Permissions: Full control over exploration settings, team management, and workflow states.
Workspace Member
Members are core contributors invited to a project workspace. They can participate across multiple explorations and adapt to different roles as needed.
Key capabilities:
- Access all explorations within their workspace
- Serve as collaborators, assignees, or reviewers
- Manage multiple explorations simultaneously
- View exploration progress and content
Permissions: Read access to all workspace content, with additional permissions based on assigned roles.
Collaborator
Collaborators contribute questions and insights during the sourcing period. They help expand the exploration’s scope by identifying important considerations.
Core functions:
- Suggest discovery questions during sourcing period
- Categorize questions into relevant matters
- View exploration progress and answers
- Participate in the recommendations process
Permissions: Can suggest questions, view content, and comment on recommendations.
Assignee
Assignees are selected by admins to answer specific questions within set timeframes. They provide the detailed responses that drive exploration insights.
Primary tasks:
- Answer assigned questions comprehensively
- Meet response deadlines
- Address reviewer feedback
- Revise answers when requested
Permissions: Edit access to assigned questions and ability to respond to feedback.
Reviewer
Reviewers ensure answer quality by evaluating responses and providing feedback. They act as quality control before answers advance to recommendations.
